November 11th / RATTLE MAKING WORKSHOP

Karla Terry, from Fifty Lakes, MN, will be coming to The Soul Source to lead this workshop where you will choose your materials and a handle, create a shape for your rattle body and then cut and form it, fill it with sacred sound objects that have meaning and sound connection with you and then decorate it with fur, lacings, beads, etc...In order for the shape to dry properly, the workshop will run on Saturday from 10-3PM (some salad and snacks will be served and people can bring something to share) and then to finish up from 10-12:30 on Sunday--including a closing and blessing ceremony.

Cost is sliding scale $145-$127.00 per person and includes all materials--though you can bring handles or stones or other objects that you want to put inside your rattle that have meaning.

The Soul Source will also have tea, water, and coffee for everyone. Bring a notebook, pen, a water bottle, and wear comfortable shoes and layers of clothes for working inside and outside.
